His novel How I Braved Anu Aunty and Cofunded A Milion Dollar Company, which he wrote at the age of 22, has been read by over five lac people and is being made into a Bollywood film by Nitesh Tiwari (Director of Dangal).

He started his company Alma Mater, along with his friend Rohn Malhotra, at the age of 22. Within three years, they grew the company from 0 to a million dollars in revenue, being funded twice by the Indian Angel Network.

Varun also runs a video content company The Enthu Cutlets which has close to 10 million views on Youtube and over 50K subscribers.

He is an occasional investor and his recent investments include India’s first desi pizza QSR brand – Puh Se Pizza.
